The provisional unemployment rate estimate for June 2016 was 11.2%, remaining unchanged from the definitive estimate for May 2016.
The definitive unemployment rate estimate for May 2016 was 11.2%, being revised downwards by 0.4 percentage points from the provisional estimate released one month ago.
The provisional unemployed population estimate for June 2016 was 568.8 thousand people, down 0.7% from the definitive estimate for May 2016 (less 4.0 thousand people). The provisional employed population estimate was
4,532.3 thousand people, up 0.2% from the previous month level (more 7.7 thousand people).
In these estimates, it was considered the population aged 15 to 74 and the values were seasonally adjusted.
