Lisbon, Aug. 22 (Lusa) – Brazilian Telecom operator Oi, where the Portuguese Telecom Pharol SGPS is a reference shareholder, said on Tuesday that Goldman Sachs owned 10.26% of the company’s preference shares.
In a communiqué to the market, Oi said Goldman Sachs told it that on 16 August, it and Goldman Sachs International, “made purchases that resulted in it owning 16,185,547 preference shares” in the Brazilian telecom operator.
