António Costa  Davos  World Economic Forum

Davos, Switzerland, Jan. 18 (Lusa) – Portugal’s prime minister, António Costa, is arriving in Davos, Switzerland on Wednesday to participate in bilateral meetings at the World Economic Forum until Thursday.


The 47th World Economic Forum in Davos started on Tuesday and goes on until Friday, bringing together about 3,000 world political and economic leaders, including António Costa, Portugal’s economy minister, Manuel Caldeira Cabral, the UN general secretary, António Guterres, Portuguese banker Horta Osório and the European commissioner Carlos Moedas.


The prime minister is dedicating two days of his agenda to this forum and his aim is to present Portugal as a safe, stable country to invest foreign investment and he is expected to have meetings with the IMF director, Christine Lagarde, and the OECD general secretary, Angel Gurría.
