"MONUMENTO À PEIXEIRA" (MONUMENT TO THE FISHMONGER)

Inaugurated on the 28th of June 1997, this monument evokes the fish market, depicting a group of women at work. It is a tribute to the Póvoa fishwife, who always held a major role in the fishing community.
