The belvedere stands at an altitude of 612 m, in Chão Longo, parish of Vascões, and offers a wonderful panoramic view over the farming fields, on ledges, fenced off either by vegetation or by rubble walls. From this belvedere visitors can see the vast grazing fields of the Agricultural Association of Chã de Lamas, formed during the Estado Novo political period.
