“Arte da Terra” is the name of a peculiar studio. Situated in Paradela do Rio in the municipality of Montalegre, is the chosen place of two craftsmen to live there and give life to their craft productions, in perfect harmony with the surrounding natural elements.
José Teixeira works the ceramic in a very personal way, his pieces have very peculiar features that easily identify and single out. From the hands of Maria Teixeira, artworks full of meaning and passion are born. This is what you can find when visiting the workshop and ceramic Gallery "Arte da Terra".
