In the Belvedere of the sanctuary of Nossa Senhora das Neves we see a panoramic of the village of Caminha, the Atlantic Ocean and the mouth of the River Minho. Portuguese and Galician villages on both banks of the river and Mount Santa Tecla, as a background, star a beautiful landscape. The Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora das Neves, with a Baroque chapel, is one of the most sacred temples known in the county. Here it takes place on 5 August, one of the oldest festivals in the county. The surrounding area offers excellent conditions that appeal to familiarity, with stone tables and benches in the shade of the new reforestation.
