Designed by Architect Rui Lacerda and of public component, fits into the space as an art form, acquiring new meanings – a masterpiece-sculpture, which has become a cultural reference within the region.
The Auditorium is a basic component in its functioning and, therefore, its prime location and capacity allow the use by the Academy – Professional School in full. With a capacity of 284 places, in a place where the sounds are kings and lords, acoustic is of great importance.
The building has seven floors and responds to two distinct functional aspects but coordinated: Cultural and educational. Functionality has been constant concern. The concept was simple: “Box in Box“.
