Classified as a monument of public interest, the Carcavelos bridge links the parishes of Cárquere and Resende, and allows the passage over the river Corvo.
It features a rectangular roadway that rests over a perfect arch. Set in a beautiful landscape, with buildings of heritage value, such as mills, it is an excellent example of old bridge road architecture in the county.
