The environmental restoration of Vila do Conde went through the front Atlantic and waterfront of the Ave River intervention under the Polis program. Integrated in this area and located in the former "House of Risk" is the Centre for Environmental Monitoring and Interpretation - CMIA.
This equipment is designed to develop environmental awareness campaigns, promote the construction of environmental quality databases at the local level and manage this information in order to help improve the environment at the regional level.
