The shrine of Nossa Senhora da Piedade at São Martinho das Chãs is located on the hill overlooking the Gogim parish. In the same place still stands another small chapel dedicated to Santa Maria Madalena. In addition to the two temples there is still another that was the hermit`s house as well as schist buildings that formerly served to welcome pilgrims who came from various backgrounds. The pilgrimage still remains on the last Sunday of May.
