Chapel of S. Silvestre and Cross Stone

Description
It is a granitic Chapel, with a single nave and prefixed porch to the main façade, based on three round arches. It is referenced in 1625 in the Porto Bishops catalogue, dating its lintel from 1711. The chapel is dedicated to S. Silvestre, known as the patron of hunger, plague and war, who is celebrated on the 31st
/December. It is supported on a quadrangular base of three granite steps of decreasing size. In the nearby square, there is a granite column with smooth shaft and Ionic capital, ended by a cross. It was probablt built in the XVIII century.
