Description
Eira da Lage

The floors are large open spaces, paved, with stone paths, where agricultural activities such as drying of grain and the  husking of the maize are undertaken. They are located generally in areas with good sun exposure and favorable winds.
Eira da Laje, the largest village of Bustelo is a threshing community of natural rock, framed by a set of buildings to support agricultural practices, such as granaries and small storage rooms, stores or cattle sections.
It is so great importance that is traditionally connected with the village name itself ( Bustelo da Laje) - formerly "Cum-Bustum" regarding cremation and corpses in the pre-Roman period.
