The Environmental Education Centre was inaugurated on December 14, 2008 with an exhibition portraying the important "natural heritage" of Vila do Conde municipality and it is entitled" Landscape Notes."
This equipment is intended to be a space for reflection and debate of issues related to the green spaces, landscape and environment and also to establish itself as a "partner" of the school community in sharing knowledge and experience to investigate and develop recreational proposals for education and environmental awareness of young people.
The operating program supports the production of work / temporary exhibitions on the different problems of the environment using different exhibition stands.
