Estela de Vila Boa (Stone Monument)

Celorico de Basto
Description
The Vila Boa is a stone element showing inscriptions engraved on two of the facades, used as a transept located in the Centre of the village of Vila Boa, near the Church of Rego.

The inscriptions seem to fit within a roman script, however, to date this pillar was not subject to a study that enables us to define with some security a reliable chronology.

This archaeological element is a property of Public Interest since 1977.
