Every year, on the last weekend of July, in the town of Lousada, filled with joy and excitement, it takes place the festivity of the county in honor of Senhor dos Aflitos. From 13 to 15 August, it follows the ancient pilgrimage in honor of the Lady of Aparecida. The procession includes the largest portable platform in the country, which is carried by ninety men, demonstrating a great manifestation of faith.
