Frei Estêvão Belvedere is situated in the picnic park on national road EN222, in Ervedosa do Douro. Standing 435 m high and overlooking the Ervedosa valley, Douro river and Pinhão. From its exceptional location, in Ervedosa do Douro, visitors have a breathtaking and typical view often shown on TV, in newspapers, magazines and social networks when they talk about the Douro region. The image shows the Douro World Heritage Site, with its large wine producing estates, Ervedosa valley, the calm and beautiful Douro River meandering around the mountains and along the railway line and, in the far end, Pinhão village.
