The Gallery of Arts and Crafts, at Praça (Square) do Comércio, in Ferreiros, exposes throughout the year, an exhibition featuring all kinds of handicrafts and local products. The purpose of this building is to introduce the culture and traditions through the various arts and crafts, as well as to promote the best of what is produced in the municipality.
As from pottery, metalwork, tinsmith, wooden articles, as well as embroidery, lover’s (Valentine) square handkerchiefs, hand-painted dishes and “cavaquinhos” (small wooden guitars), visitors can enjoy all kinds of jobs. In addition, you will also find the good local wine and orange flavoured products you love, like liquor, biscuits and jam, and much more.
