The town centre of Bemposta is a relatively uniform area in terms of town-planning. Marked by the Town Hall and the pillory, the administrative headquarters of the extinct County of Bemposta, was located here. It is an area with few changes, being possible to conserve the vestiges of the oldest occupations. It is important to safeguard this situation whenever interventions in this perimeter are expected.
