The Municipal museum is located in a building of the early twentieth century, at the time the Teatro-Club de Braga, who left trace the architect Ventura Terra. In the 1990's the city council decided to adapt the Municipal Museum, and it opened in 1993, under dash Bernardo Ferrão, named Architect of the Porto Scholl.
