This oak bark museum is located in Aboim. The oak bark industry began in 1950. At the mill, visitors can see how the owners of Carvalhedo extracted the oak bark to be sold to large tanneries in Guimarães.


Opening hours:
Winte (November to April): Tuesday to Saturday: 10 am–1 pm / 2 pm–5 pm
Summer (May to October): Tuesday to Saturday: 9 am–1 pm / 2 pm–6 pm
