Places of interest – Amoreiras Aqueduct

Description
Behind the Monastery of Grijó and out of its fence, is located the Amoreiras Aqueduct or “Murraceses”,it  was built in the XVIII century to hasten the necessities of the friars, guaranteeing the supply of water in the Monastery.

Of private architecture solid structure, it has two meters of width and height that varies between half a meter and eight meters. In the final section, it has an arcade of full fourteen arches of big dimension.

It was classified as Property of Public interest in 1974.
