Inaugurated in July 1997, the Regional Car Museum, the third of its kind in the country, is a joint initiative of the municipality of Fafe and the Portuguese Antique Car Club. Its purpose is to disseminate and value antique cars and is, therefore, a local attraction as the guardian of the memory and history of motor vehicles.
