The river Caima borns on the Serra da Freita plateau and provides us with leisure facilities such as the Eng. Duarte Pacheco dam, the Paço de Mato recreation area and the Burgães river beach. Several roman bridges cross the river Caima: Coronados bridge, Velha de Padastros bridge, Castelo do Mau Vizinho bridge and Paço do Mato bridge.
