The River Sousa is the right-bank tributary of the Douro and it is 65 km long.
It rises ar Friande (Felgueiras) and empties into Foz do Sousa (Gondomar).
Along its course, it passes the municipalities of Felgueiras, Lousada, Penafiel, Paredes and Gondomar (Covelo and Foz do Sousa). In Pedreira, you will find the River Sousa in an area fit for hiking.
