Description

Cachão da Rapa is undoubtedly one of the most important  sites of Portuguese historical rock paintings. The paintings were made on the flat and vertical granite panel over 4 metres high. The surface contains a sequence of schematic motifs with a predominance of rectangular geometrical  shapes in red ocre and dark blue, almost black.
