Santa Luzia Belvedere differs from the other belvederes in S. João da Pesqueira. Flanked by vineyards, it is not near the Douro River, rather close to Torto River, which is also important in the council. This belvedere stands 582 m high and offers beautiful views over the various wine producing farms, such as Santa Luzia, with its imposing vineyards. We also find extensive areas of olive groves and almond groves, typical in this part of the council, with the Torto River flowing in the far end.
The outdoor facility may be visited at any time of day, so no booking is required.
