The Serra da Aboboreira (Aboboreira Mountain) has a high landscape interest. It is a granite counterfort implanted in the western end of the mountains massif of Marão/Alvão. It is a very rough mountain extended by smooth plans named “chãs”. This mountain is 1000 meters above sea level and it has three very important places: the “Abogalheira” place with 962 high, the “Meninas” place with 970 meters high and the “Senhora da Guia” place with 972 meters high.
