This is a geosite of high geomorphological interest, located at 500 meters altitude, approximate, and it is the best point for the observation of the morphology and landscape of the Douro valley, in the Arouca Geopark territory. From this place, it is also possible to watch the big hercynian structure called “Anticlinal de Valango” – an antiform bend with asymmetric flanks, oriented according to the NW-SE direction.
