Serra da Cabreira is located between the division of Minho and Trás-os-Montes, extending throughout the territories of Vieira do Minho, Cabeceiras de Basto and Montalegre.
Its peak, the Talefe, with 1,262 meters altitude, provides the visitor an amazing landscape over the mountain villages, lakes and the Serra do Gerês. Here, you will find a wind farm comprising 10 wind turbines, as well as a guard post of the Forest Services.
