The Távora River water mirror is a place of extraordinary beauty, where leisure and sport are a constant topic throughout the year. Revealing all the tourist potential of coastal villages, it exposed the natural landscape of the Távora Valley, contributed to the enrichment of fauna and flora and is a reference space in the summer tourism in the region. It has been endowed with summer equipment like Largo de Festas, the gaming space, the rail and bird observatory, being connected to Ferreirim and Freixinho by a pedestrian bridge that crosses the Ribeira de Ferreirim. The Canoeing is one of the modalities that happens every year in the waters of the Távora dam.
