It might have been the main centre of the Burgh, reinforcing today, the medieval urbanism of city of Barcelos. In its centre, there is a Fountain in Renaissance style (1621) attributed to João Lopes. Around it are located, the House of Carmona, the House of Alferes Barcelense and the House of the Saint Constable D. Nuno Alvares Pereira.
