Arcos de Valdevez
Description

Erected between the 13th and the 14th century, then restored by João Rodrigues in 1613, the “Ázere”’s bridge presents itself with a traditional horizontal board standing on top of two round arches as well as an apparatus in granite ashlars; the northern arch presenting some acronyms. The southern arch has shorter staves, some of them padded. The typical central pier with cutwater likewise present.
