The Cachão Village is located a few kilometres from Valpaços municipality, on the right bank of the Rabaçal River, the final part being a flattened land track (always descending). Reaching the Cachão, we came across the old village’s remanence and all its characteristic houses, such as the community’s oven, the chapel, the water mills, etc. The EX-LIBRIS of this village is the River Rabaçal, where the clear water gently flows through the rocks that flank the riverbed.
