In the urban centre of Felgueiras, you will be able to feast your eyes on the Brazilian Colonial architecture of Casa das Torres.
You may visit the Casa do Curral, historically related to Júlio Dinis and Magalhães Lemos, see the Town Hall (Paços do Concelho) and stroll through the gardens where you will find the bust of Magalhães Lemos. In local shops, you can find our handicraft, Felgueiras wine and Margaride sponge cake (pão-de-ló de Margaride). Proceeding with the tour through the city, do not miss the monument to Nicolau Coelho (illustrious navigator from Felgueiras) and Casa das Artes – the recently recuperated building of the Fonseca Moreira Theatre.
