It is an old country house restored, where abound the ceiling with wooden beams and stone walls. The decor is to match (the only way to maintain the aura of the place), there are leafy plants to color the interior space, there are dishes on the tables and walls (as in his grandparents' house), there is furniture of dark and heavy wood, with glass doors. The Sossego Cellar name is born because of taste and habit owner receive friends for whom preparing snacks in a calm and pleasant environment. Our restaurant since 1991, seeks to promote the flavors of authentic Portuguese cuisine. It was, in ancient times, the home of the current owner's grandparents but today you can taste ancient recipes of flavors.
Our kitchen has an excellent homemade and regional flavor. Corn bread, fried shad with rice chaff, grilled trout with ham, lamprey giblets with rice or Bordeaux, veal chop the giblets Peace and cock are some of our specialties.
