The Douro Velho restaurant is found situated at the heart of the Riverside historical area, standing out for the combination of the River Douro with the traditional construction of other centuries and the panoramic of Porto’s riverside. It opens its charm at 12h00 and ends at 23h00, seven days a week.
The tradition and sobriety of our history combine with the taste of the Northern accent in its delicacies, although we look for having a wide-ranging gastronomy in all of our country’s flavours. Neverthless, it presents with its specialities: “Bacalhau à Douro Velho” (Cod), flavours of the Atlantic, “Parilhada de Peixe” (mixture of different fishes), “Polvo à Lagareiro” (octopus), flavours of Mirandela, “Rodizio de Picanha” (Brazilian style meat), “Francesinha”, “Bife à Douro Velho” (steak), “Tripas à moda do Porto” (tripes).
