… located in Melgaço, the northern point of Portugal, a special place were Alvarinho grapes succeed. The sunny hills’ sheltered by mountains provide the ideal conditions of temperature and sunshine. Here the grapes ripening to perfection, blooming into vibrant and elegant wines. The passion for the viticulture led João Antonio Cerdeira to plant the first Alvarinho vine in the seventies and to create, in 1982, the first Alvarinho brand in Melgaço. We hope you feel your unique expression, something that has always inspired us.
