The restaurant is located in Quinta do Outeiro de Baixo, in the parish of São Gonçalo. The restaurant and shop were inaugurated in 2008.
The restaurant has two rooms and a terrace overlooking the town of Amarante, the river Tamega and the Marão Mountains. There is free car parking.Besides the excellent panoramic location, also the accesses are pretty easy (near the Tamega bypass, about 800 meters from exit 15 of the A4).

It is a traditional portuguese cuisine restaurant. The roasted lamb, the “Maronesa” veal with chestnut sauce, “Maronesa” steak, codfish with corn bread, stewed portk, Bísaro pork, roasted chicken, octopus in olive oil, Cozido à Portuguesa ( portuguese stew made of boiled meat with vegetables). The smoked meat can be bought in the restaurant shop.

Lamprey and Hunt are also served in the season.

All these delicacies can be enjoyed with the genuine "Quinta do Outeiro de Baixo" wine produced with the Azal and Pedernã varieties (white wine) and Vinhão (red wine).
