The restaurant "Foz do Távora" is located next to the Douro River, on the River Távora pier. It allows costumers to enjoy some of the most beautiful landscapes of the region. Within this bar / restaurant there is a beautiful wine cellar of Quinta do Pégo (current owner of this space), and other wines of the region as well. Purchases and wine tastings can be made in here.
The restaurant opened to the public in 2015 under the management of the current owners and has a traditional and regional cuisine, being the “francesinha” and steak “Távora” manner its main specialties. With a capacity of approximately 30 people, it has a modern decoration inspired in the region in which it is inserted, the Alto Douro Vinhateiro.
Its terrace allows to enjoy the Douro River in a calm and cozy environment, which makes the wonders of many tourists and visitors, especially in the spring and summer seasons.
