This holiday home is a new totally restored rustic house with brand new bedrooms, toilets and a kitchen with all modern equipment. There are 3 covered terraces with 2 grills. From the pool and the terrace you have a splendid view over the Lima valley. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. Downstairs is the living room, kitchen and a fourth bedroom. This bedroom is rather small, but has its own entrance and its own bathroom. The outdoor terrace has its own kitchen arrangement with hot and cold water, kitchen sink, own cooking range and fridge. Out of the summer season the house is heated by a big stove in the living room, connected with a water tank, which gives heat to all the rest of the house. Ideal for families with children (the pool is fenced) and groups of up to 8 people.

Laying 400 m above the river Lima, the house has a spectacular view over the Lima valley with its many small villages and untouched nature. The location gives the possibility of hiking and mountain biking, as well as visiting historical places like Ponte de Lima (Portugal’s oldest town), Braga (the 3rd largest city in Portugal), Viana do Castelo at the seaside, Arcos de Valdevez, the fortresses of Valenca and Monaco, the Spanish cities of Tui, Vigo and Santiago de Compostela. You can also go to the Atlantic seaside (about 30 km) and the mountains in the Peneda Geres Nature Reserve ( about 30 km) . The house is only 6 km from the nearest highway and 90 km from Porto Airport. During your stay you can enjoy the small local villages with its many vineyards, the fantastic view over the Lima valley, the solar-heated pool, the covered terraces and the new bedrooms equipped with comfortable beds.
