Description

The bridge "Várzea" on the river Olo is located in Ermelo parish and probably corresponds to an ancient Roman crossing and rebuilt during medieval times.

As the bridge of Cabril, was an integral part of the ancient Middle –Via which connected Chaves to Favaios by Panoias in Vila Real.

It is classified as Property of Public Interest since 1990 and has undergone rehabilitation works. It is commonly known as the Bridge of hams.
